Lia Gong

I design with clarity, and build with intent.

With a fine art background and a systems-driven mind, I turn ambiguity into clarity.

Trained in contemporary art in Milan before pivoting into product design, I've spent the past few years inside early-stage startups across B2C and B2B SaaS. I'm at my best when defining the problem, not just solving it: shaping product direction, building design systems, and turning fuzzy ideas into things people can actually use. I treat code as a core material, prototyping in the browser and vibe-coding real products alongside design.

Currently at Pear, figuring out what designers become in the AI era: less pixel-pusher, more problem-definer, builder, and translator between intent and interface.
